February 23rd is celebrated in Russia as Defender of the Fatherland Day!
This is a special day in our history and a common holiday for all Russians. On this day, we pay tribute and express our gratitude to all who dedicated their lives to protecting peace and tranquility of our homeland.
Today, we extend our warmest congratulations to our veterans. Dear veterans, your faith in victory during the Great Patriotic War, your heroic deeds, endless love, and devotion to the Motherland helped defend freedom and peace. We will never forget, all of us living today, the enormous price you paid for victory in 1945.
May the younger generation learn from the example of their fathers and grandfathers courage, bravery, selfless love for the homeland, and readiness to defend it.
On this February day, I wish everyone good health, a peaceful sky over your head, joy and warmth in your home, and confidence in the future.
